Welcome to EUROPE, is open for business (from UK, of course)!

While Britain was NOT prepared for BREXIT, it seems that Europe was How it was possible for "leavers", both voters and leaders, to be so blind and unable to anticipate this, remain a mystery to be clarified in time, hopefully our life-time.   It started, literally, within hours of Britain's vote to leave. While Brits were still trying to understand what  "leave" means and whether the result is for real,  cities and companies across Europe leapt into action, all of them hoping to lure businesses, entrepreneurs and investment from  Great Britain. Britain hasn’t even officially filed for divorce and was still trying to make sense of what the next step will be when the rest of EU started to cast attractive offers to all business areas.  Despite the high levels of uncertainty, others in Europe are already looking to gain from Britain’s pain. Nothing personal guys, is just business.  Virtually all major cities in Europe race now to be "the ne...

Raspunsul e simplu - neatentie, populism, superficialitate, exhibtionism popular, politicieni fara scrupule ahtiati dupa putere La originea d...

British Referendum consequences - Important hotel chain ask EU Nationals to leave their jobs

And.. this is how it begins... If you wander if the outcome of the BREXIT Referendum will have an immediate impact on EU nationals living and working in United Kingdom, the answer is YES!!! Employers are already asking  EU-nationals to leave their jobs unless they can prove they can remain in UK on different grounds than EU-citizenship.  True facts: Within hours after the results of IN/OUT Referendum, two employees of one of a branded hotels in London - EU nationals -   were asked by the management to leave their jobs on the grounds that the company cannot afford to keep employees with "uncertain" working rights.  They were told to  to provide evidence of theirs working and living rights in Britain other than the rights as EU citizens or they must go.  One of them can start the application for residence in UK while he is there for more than 10 years, but the other one cannot do the same because he is in the country, for only 2...

LETTER TO MY FELLOW EUROPEAN-BRITISH FRIENDS

Dear British Pro-European Friends, It seems the logic and common sense didn't manage to prevail over populism and hate propaganda in UK. However, despite the results of BREXIT Referendum, you are always welcome to be with us and continue to work for our dream of an united Europe,   Despite the message sent to the world and specially to Europe by the Brits, a message of hate and intolerance, we will not respond with the same coin. I, personally, refuse to respond with the same message in return.  Therefore, you are always welcome to Romania.  Life in Romania is not as easy as you use to have in Britain, but we have here tremendous potential for development and is a good place for anyone willing to work hard to make a living, to start a business, to build a future.  As you may know, Romania is the fastest developing country in EU and is plenty of room for anyone who wants to join us and our efforts to build a democratic society.  Yes, Roman...
