        I usually don't complain about how brexiters treat us, Romanians in particular, I know how much they hate us.        I always thought that, this hate, it is the result of the avalanche of negative publicity that was allover British media in the last years. All those gigantic lies propagated allover based on Francis Bacon principle: „Audacter calumniare, semper aliquid haeret” (slander boldly, something always sticks), from his book „De dignitate et augmentis scientiarum” (Of dignity and advancement in science), made Romanians one of the most hated nation in UK.       There is no doubt that brexiters came after us hard and rude before and during the campaign. Romanians thought that the best thing to do is to use their sense of humor to stand against this vilification.        It seems that our approach didn't really work out. They still hate us.   Pe plan juridic, iesirea Marii Britanii din UE este mai tare ca o telenovela sud-americana Sa ne lamurim un pic cum e cu BREXIT-ul asta. Deci (stiu ca nu e frumos sa incepi o propozitie cu “deci”, dar... deci..), referendumul de iesire a Marii Britanii din UE a fost, din punct de vedere legal si constitutional, unul CONSULTATIV. Adica, ceva asa, ca sa stie “baietii” din parlament cam ce vrea “boborul”. Practic, in acest moment, nicio lege britanica nu poate obliga Parlamentul sau Guvernul sa dea curs rezultatelor acestei consultari populare.  Pe de alta parte, insa, neimplementara rezultatelor referendumului este de natura a fi interpretata ca un deficit de democratie. Aici lucrurile se complica un pic pentru ca si la parlamentarii lor functioneaza aceeasi regula ca si la noi, adica votul NU este imperativ, cu alte cuvinte nu poti obliga un parlamentar sa voteze altfel decat il indeamna constiin...

Intoxicati la maxim de propaganda nationalista, anti-europeana, in Romania, multi par inca  sa creada ca referendumul de iesire al Marii Britanii din Uniunea Europeana a avut de-a face cu redarea mandriei nationale. Nimic mai gresit!!! Intai si intai, pentru ca mandria nationala nu poate fi separata de interesul national, de adevaratul interes national, in traducere pentru caposi, interes national inseamna sa faci ce e cel mai bine pentru tara, adica mai multa prosperitate, securitate si satbilitate si mai putine sloganuri pompoase cu burta goala si nadragii rupti. De fapt referendumul britanic nu a avut deloc de a face cu cine stie ce sentiment nobil de patriotism, n-a avut treaba nici macar cu orgoliul national. A avut de-a face exclusiv cu politicianismul, populismul si bataia pe functii din Partidul Conservator si cu ambitiile unui corupt mogul media de a controla viata politica la cel mai inalt nivel. Weekend englezesc sau cat costa populismul. Huliganizarea marii Britanii O radiografie a evenimentelor care aproape au daramat lumea si din care romanii au multe de invatat, ca sa nu repete si ei greselile englezilor.  "Pentru ca raul sa triumfe este suficient ca oamenii buni sa nu faca nimic"  Si a fost BREXIT, si au votat englezii intr-o veselie si intr-o prostie greu de imaginat chiar si pentru o tara fara cine stie ce vechime intr-ale democratiei, ca Romania.  Am avut un weekend 100% englezesc, m-am informat si am "asistat" la derularea evenimentelor pas cu pas, la intensitatea cu care au trait britanicii evenimentele, ca sa va spun voua cum a fost, ce-am aflat si ce sa NU facem ca natiune NICIODATA.   Ce s-a intamplat si cum s-a ajuns la acest rezultat pe care NU si l-au dorit nici macar englezii? And.. this is how it begins... If you wander if the outcome of the BREXIT Referendum will have an immediate impact on EU nationals living and working in United Kingdom, the answer is YES!!! Employers are already asking  EU-nationals to leave their jobs unless they can prove they can remain in UK on different grounds than EU-citizenship.  True facts: Within hours after the results of IN/OUT Referendum, two employees of one of a branded hotels in London - EU nationals -   were asked by the management to leave their jobs on the grounds that the company cannot afford to keep employees with "uncertain" working rights.  They were told to  to provide evidence of theirs working and living rights in Britain other than the rights as EU citizens or they must go.  One of them can start the application for residence in UK while he is there for more than 10 years, but the other one cannot do the same because he is in the country, for only 2...
